This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa.
• Collaborate with Customer Managers to formulate and implement business strategies.
• Develop and oversee strategic plans for designated retailers and wholesalers.
• Coordinate strategy and plans with Regional Broker Managers, identifying potential opportunities and challenges.
• Equip Customer Managers with analytical insights for category/line reviews and presentations of new items.
• Manage and ensure transparency regarding trade funds.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of Customer Managers.
• Partner with the Insights lead to integrate insights across category/brand, consumer/shopper, and channel/retail dimensions.
• Utilize syndicated and additional data sources to guide and shape strategic and tactical trade initiatives.
• Conduct ad-hoc financial and data analyses, including evaluations before and after events.
• Create customer-specific distribution and merchandising objectives, supported by insights and activation strategies.
• Participate in customer sales meetings with the Customer Manager Team when appropriate.
• Design and present materials for the CROSSMARK Business Review process.
• Establish and maintain Client plans in CROSSVIEW and the Client’s Trade Planning System.
• Execute other job-related responsibilities as assigned by management.
• A Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four-year university is preferred; relevant experience may be considered in place of a degree.
• A minimum of 5–7 years of sales or marketing experience, including experience with major chain customers.
• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with Nielsen and other syndicated data sources.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong collaboration and influencing abilities.
• Capacity to communicate clearly, think strategically, and resolve issues.
• Effective prioritization of demands and commitment follow-through.
• No certifications, licenses, or registrations are required.
• Proficiency in English is essential; bilingual skills may be necessary depending on business needs.
• Ability to work in both home office and field settings.
• Willingness to travel 20–30% of the time.
