Building Envelope Manager – Mid-Atlantic

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Safeguard and expand market share for commercial glass mat roofing and wall products.

• Introduce innovative solutions to address challenges in commercial building.

• Build and nurture relationships with architects, consultants, building owners, system manufacturers, and other influential figures in the commercial building sector.

• Formulate and execute strategies to enhance and protect market share.

• Discover project opportunities through various databases.

• Establish a market presence through industry associations and local connections.

• Collaborate throughout the sales process from product selection to installation.

• Utilize Salesforce® CRM as a tool for business collaboration and communication.

• Act as a technical product resource for commercial value-added roofing and wall products.

• Provide sales forecasts that reflect key trends, competitive landscape, and market conditions within the designated territory.

• Work in tandem with Marketing, Technical, and other Sales team members within Georgia-Pacific's Gypsum Business.


⛳️ Requirements

• At least three (3) years of experience in technical sales.

• Proficient in delivering technical presentations.

• Willing and able to travel up to 50% of the time.

• Valid US Driver's license with a clean driving record.

• Resident or willing to relocate to the mid-Atlantic region, ideally Virginia, Maryland, or Pennsylvania.

• Experience in technical and specification sales related to commercial building materials.

• Skilled in presenting AIA accredited courses and other educational sessions to the commercial building design community.

• Familiarity with commercial building enclosure design and construction practices.

• Relevant industry credentials such as CDT (Construction Documents Technology), CCPR (Certified Construction Product Representative), and RRO (Registered Roof Observer).

• Experience utilizing Salesforce® as a sales enablement and collaboration tool.

• Bachelor's degree in Management, Engineering, Building Construction, Architecture, or a related field.
