Building Automations Engineer – Mechanical Construction

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.

📋 Description

• Design, program, and implement building automation and HVAC control systems.

• Assist in system integration, testing, and commissioning processes.

• Analyze mechanical, electrical, and control schematics.

• Create and review control schematics, submittals, and project documentation.

• Provide support for system troubleshooting and technical issue resolution.

• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, technicians, and other stakeholders.

• Facilitate project delivery from design phase through to commissioning and handover.

• Keep up-to-date with advancements in building automation technologies and industry regulations.

⛳️ Requirements

• An Associate or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, HVAC Technology, or a related discipline; relevant experience may be considered.

• Over 5 years of experience in building automation, HVAC controls, or a similar technical area.

• Proficiency in understanding HVAC systems, electrical systems, and low-voltage controls.

• Capability to read and interpret mechanical, electrical, and control drawings.

• Familiarity with or eagerness to learn: Building Automation Systems (BAS), BACnet, Tridium/Niagara, Distech, Honeywell.

• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and organizational abilities.

• Must be a resident of Wisconsin.
