Building Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Review plan documents to accurately establish and maintain group set-up in the Qiclink System

• Assign codes to self-funded and fully insured groups based on the plan documents

• Update coding to reflect all plan modifications

• Establish and oversee HRA processing plans

• Manage relevant programs for prescription accumulators

• Conduct audits of completed tasks to ensure accuracy

• Develop and maintain group documentation for manual claims intervention

• Utilize Excel spreadsheets and Access databases to execute tasks effectively

• Support automation by coding benefits that do not require intervention

• Manually input accumulators for new groups as needed

• Collaborate with plan documentation and account management personnel on intricate benefit coding

• Identify and rectify issues recognized through claims, plan testing, and customer service referrals

• Test and document each system upgrade

• Learn, comply with, and implement privacy and security regulations including HIPAA and HITECH

• Participate in mandatory continuing education, including HIPAA training

• Provide timely and accurate responses to benefit-related inquiries

• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience is required

• At least 3 years of extensive experience in building and coding medical, dental, and vision plans

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience working with the Qiclink system

• Strong analytical abilities

• Familiarity with computer systems and CPT and ICD-9 coding terminology

• Proficient in Excel and Word

• Experience with or capability to learn Microsoft Access

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• High-speed broadband or fiber optic internet connection with a minimum of 100 Mbps download/25 Mbps upload

• Ability to engage in extended periods of sitting and computer work
