This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.
• Propel builder engagement and revenue expansion for EZ Sheath by implementing regional sales and market development strategies.
• Establish and nurture relationships with residential builders, contractors, distributors, dealers, and other key stakeholders.
• Generate demand by informing customers about product advantages, applications, and value propositions.
• Implement the EZ Sheath go-to-market strategy throughout the region and pinpoint opportunities to enhance growth and market presence.
• Collaborate with two-step distribution, local lumber dealers, and specialty distribution partners to guarantee product availability and customer service.
• Utilize expertise in residential construction and building science to engage clients and tackle field-level challenges.
• Assist builder pilot programs and transition trials into sustained adoption and repeat business.
• Differentiate EZ Sheath from competing alternatives by articulating unique value and performance benefits.
• Achieve regional sales targets, growth goals, and profitability objectives through effective account management and business development.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Technical Services, Building Science, and Distribution teams to synchronize customer solutions and promote adoption.
• Offer product knowledge, training, and sales assistance to distribution and channel partners.
• Employ CRM tools, sales analytics, and market data to uncover opportunities, manage pipelines, and inform decision-making.
• Assess market conditions, customer requirements, and competitive activities to uncover growth avenues and enhance sales effectiveness.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience in customer-facing sales, business development, or commercial roles.
• Proven experience selling to residential builders and generating pull-through demand.
• Familiarity with building materials channels, including distributors, dealers, contractors, and residential construction markets.
• Solid understanding of residential construction methods, applications, and building practices.
• Strong business development acumen with a proven track record of generating new opportunities and expanding market share.
• Capacity to cultivate and sustain robust customer relationships at various organizational levels.
• Proficient presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Experience in utilizing CRM systems, sales tools, and market insights to manage customer pipelines and achieve results.
• Excellent organizational skills with the capability to prioritize multiple opportunities and execute effectively.
• Willingness and ability to travel extensively within the region, including up to 2–3 overnight trips per week.
• Preferred: Experience with residential insulated sheathing, wall assemblies, or similar building envelope products.
• Preferred: Knowledge of building science principles, energy codes, regulations, and construction applications.
• Preferred: Experience launching new products or promoting the adoption of innovative solutions within the construction sector.
• Preferred: Experience working with both one-step and two-step distribution models.
• Preferred: Experience collaborating with Sales, Marketing, Technical Services, and Product Management teams.
• Preferred: Proven success in developing co-marketing initiatives or distribution partnerships.
• Preferred: Experience analyzing market trends, customer insights, and competitive dynamics to shape sales strategies.
