This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Deliver exceptional service to clients and potential clients both in person and via telephone.
• Address client inquiries and resolve issues effectively.
• Uphold the firm-wide standard of answering phones within three rings.
• Prepare and file Currency Transaction Reports (CTRs) and Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) utilizing firm software.
• Oversee daily BSA/AML compliance, including adherence to OFAC and 314a regulations.
• Investigate potential suspicious activities based on software alerts and referrals from team members.
• Assess high-risk clients and conduct enhanced due diligence as necessary.
• Collaborate with Financial Advisors and Office Team Members to gather additional information.
• Identify, report, and address potential BSA risk issues.
• Offer feedback, guidance, and assistance to the BSA Team and other colleagues.
• Stay informed about regulatory changes and industry trends.
• Participate in BSA/AML training through webinars, seminars, conferences, and meetings.
• Meet the business and personal financial needs of clients, referring them to specialized areas as appropriate.
• Support other team members and undertake related tasks as assigned.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• A college degree is preferred.
• At least 10 years of experience in the financial services sector.
• A minimum of five (5) years of experience in a role related to BSA/AML compliance is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) or equivalent software.
• Understanding of federal banking regulations and compliance concerning deposit and loan transactions.
• Familiarity with the USA PATRIOT Act, Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-Money Laundering regulations, Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), and KYC/CIP programs.
• CAMS Certification is preferred.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
• Demonstrated analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Capability to work independently and effectively prioritize daily tasks to meet strict deadlines for responses and reporting.
• Strong client service skills, demonstrating tact and diplomacy.
• Ability to perform required physical activities and maintain prolonged periods of concentration.
