This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +3 more states.
• Address inquiries from clients and Financial Representatives within a call center setting.
• Offer servicing options and assist clients with various products and services.
• Resolve inquiries and transactions that vary in complexity—basic, intermediate, and advanced.
• Investigate intricate issues, pinpoint root causes, and manage escalations effectively.
• Foster client retention and recognize opportunities for building stronger relationships.
• Refer issues to field representatives for follow-up when necessary.
• Take initiative in managing calls and anticipate potential issues to minimize repeat calls and transfers.
• De-escalate client situations while guiding them through complicated inquiries.
• Act as an advocate for Financial Representatives, collaborating to fulfill client needs.
• Educate clients and field personnel on website functionalities and self-service options.
• Evaluate transaction risks and their consequences on clients or policies.
• Clarify system limitations and capabilities.
• Guide others through organizational transitions.
• Manage phone and transactional duties while upholding confidentiality and privacy standards.
• Provide coaching, mentoring, or training to others as required.
• An associate degree in business or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• A minimum of 4 years of relevant customer service experience demonstrating proven customer service abilities.
• In-depth knowledge of investment or income products and markets, including VA, VL, VUL, Retirement, and Business markets.
• Comprehensive understanding of tax implications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in multitasking and managing a high volume of calls and caseloads with accuracy.
• Strong organizational capabilities with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• A keen desire to continually learn and enhance skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with a knack for providing viable options.
• Demonstrated computer proficiency, solid typing skills, and familiarity with current software applications.
• Must meet the classification of a Registered Representative under NMIS guidelines and undergo fingerprinting.
• Series 63 – FINRA certification required.
• Series 7 – FINRA certification required.
• SIE – FINRA certification required.
