Brewery Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Promote the full range of products offered by the Boston Beer Company.

• Concentrate on selling products and/or increasing the variety of product lines in retail locations, which include bars/restaurants, liquor/grocery stores, and convenience stores.

• Identify key accounts that are not currently selling Boston Beer Company products and create strategies to initiate business with them.

• Enhance account conditions and merchandising by constructing displays, reorganizing coolers, and showcasing point-of-sale materials.

• Collaborate with distributors to ensure timely order placement, product receipt, and business growth at accounts.

• Provide education for waitstaff and bartenders, conduct beer tastings, and lead evening promotional events.

• Travel regularly within the market to support retailers and wholesalers.

• Participate in occasional meetings and training sessions.

• Be available to work on weekends and holidays when necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 1 year of results-driven experience in outside sales or in the food & beverage sector.

• A strong competitive nature paired with an assertive and confident demeanor.

• A valid driver's license is required.

• Must have a registered and insured vehicle.

• Capability to travel to and from accounts consistently.

• Ability to frequently lift and transport cases of beer.

• Must be able to climb, kneel, and stoop to arrange and display point-of-sale items on a regular basis.

• A bachelor's degree is preferred.
