Breakdown Coordinator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +41 more states.

📋 Description

• Diagnose breakdown incidents to ensure the correct service provider is dispatched.

• Organize and oversee fleet-operation logistics.

• Ensure that vehicles are serviced and repaired in a timely manner.

• Evaluate and allocate all outstanding incidents.

• Confirm proper authorization is in place for dispatching events.

• Assign the most suitable and nearest service provider for requested repairs.

• Inform customers of estimated arrival times and accommodate their needs.

• Notify the on-duty supervisor of any delays from service providers or repair issues.

• Resolve issues and respond to customer inquiries.

• Provide service coverage within a 24/7/365 operational framework.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or GED along with 3 years of experience in a relevant field.

• Relevant experience in dispatching for breakdowns and/or tire services, or medium to heavy-duty vehicle maintenance.

• Alternatively, an advanced degree or certification in a related field (Medium/Heavy Duty Truck Technology) or 5 years of experience in a similar area.

• Strong expertise in dispatching and multitasking.

• Preferred: a degree in a related field or industry experience.

• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening.

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without current or future sponsorship.

• No OPT, CPT, STEM/OPT, or visa sponsorship now or in the future.

• Training is available Monday–Friday, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm ET.

• Must be available for schedules in a 24/7/365 environment, including weekends, evenings/nights, or overnight shifts.
