Brand Marketing Manager – Societies

πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Act as the main liaison among Global Brand Marketing, Global Society Relations & Operations, and CFA Societies for brand activation and marketing enablement directed at societies.

β€’ Assist in the creation and implementation of the society activation roadmap that aligns with enterprise priorities, audience strategies, and market investment plans.

β€’ Convert marketing strategies, campaigns, and enterprise objectives into actionable activation models, guidelines, and resources.

β€’ Create and enhance scalable activation playbooks, toolkits, implementation frameworks, and participation models.

β€’ Collaborate with Brand Marketing, Society Relations, Communications, Membership, and other enterprise teams.

β€’ Foster relationships with society leaders, staff, marketers, and regional stakeholders; collect feedback and market insights.

β€’ Establish and oversee processes for activation planning, intake, communication, and feedback.

β€’ Aid in the consistent application of CFA Institute brand standards, coordinating brand reviews, approvals, and risk mitigation efforts.

β€’ Identify compliance issues and enhance guidance, training, templates, and support resources.

β€’ Design and facilitate training programs, office hours, webinars, workshops, conference content, and self-service resources.

β€’ Encourage the use of resources and share best practices, case studies, and successful activation methods.

β€’ Own and enhance the Society marketing asset ecosystem, including digital asset management platforms.

β€’ Define and monitor metrics for adoption, participation, activation quality, engagement, and other success indicators.

β€’ Assess activation results and recognize opportunities for improving effectiveness and expanding successful practices.

β€’ Assist in reporting and sharing insights that demonstrate the impact of society activation initiatives.

β€’ Manage assigned vendors, agencies, budgets, timelines, and project deliverables.

β€’ Ensure that external resources and agency partnerships support scalable capability development, knowledge transfer, and sustainable outcomes.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

β€’ Proven experience in integrated marketing, brand activation, regional or field marketing, partnership marketing, or a related discipline.

β€’ Experience in coordinating and executing multi-market or global marketing programs within a complex, matrixed organization.

β€’ Experience in translating established strategies into locally relevant execution.

β€’ Professional experience working with chapters, affiliates, franchises, member organizations, regional offices, strategic partners, or similar distributed networks is highly preferred.

β€’ Experience in developing enablement programs, toolkits, training resources, activation frameworks, or other scalable methods supporting adoption across distributed stakeholder groups.

β€’ Strong understanding of brand strategy.

β€’ Ability to adapt global marketing initiatives into locally relevant activation while ensuring brand consistency.

β€’ Ability to cultivate relationships, influence stakeholders, and drive adoption without direct authority in a matrixed environment.

β€’ Demonstrated success in managing complex projects, budgets, agencies, vendors, and multiple concurrent workstreams.

β€’ Knowledge of financial services, professional education, membership organizations, or association environments is preferred.

β€’ High proficiency in Microsoft Office.

β€’ Familiarity with project management and collaboration platforms.

β€’ Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders across various regions and time zones, adapting communication style and approach to different cultural and business contexts.
