This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Create realistic brand marketing scenarios grounded in personally executed work.
• Identify business challenges, anticipated decisions, outcomes, and evaluation criteria.
• Develop scenarios that incorporate imperfect, incomplete, or conflicting marketing data.
• Formulate and assess brand positioning and strategic-direction initiatives.
• Evaluate messaging, audience considerations, brand investment choices, and brand uniformity.
• Analyze brand tracking studies and share-of-voice metrics.
• Interpret brand performance and market indicators while assessing evidence-based conclusions.
• Evaluate messaging consistency across various regions, audiences, channels, and touchpoints.
• Create and scrutinize scenarios involving unique brand assets.
• Assess marketing channel and tactical recommendations, trade-offs, prioritization, and resource limitations.
• Collaborate with simulated email, storage, CRM, project management, social media, web analytics, SEO/AEO, advertising, CMS, product analytics, and customer support environments.
• Define realistic documents, dashboards, personas, and tool states.
• Examine Google Analytics 4 data where applicable.
• Draft or review reference solutions and evaluation standards.
• Evaluate completed scenarios and analyze diagnostic reasoning, prioritization, trade-offs, planning, execution, and reporting.
• Offer clear written justifications supporting evaluation decisions.
• Practical professional experience in brand marketing.
• Proven track record of ownership over brand positioning, brand tracking, and brand investment choices.
• In-depth understanding of brand strategy, messaging, share of voice, and channel decision-making.
• Proficient in interpreting brand tracking studies, share-of-voice metrics, and Google Analytics 4.
• Strong capability to analyze disorganized or conflicting information and arrive at justifiable marketing decisions.
• Exceptional written reasoning and the ability to articulate why a marketing decision is sound or ineffective.
• Previous experience in developing AI training environments, reinforcement-learning settings, or simulated business case studies is highly desirable.
• Certification from Rubric Academy or Rubric Bootcamp is strongly preferred.
• Comfortable working autonomously within detailed evaluation frameworks and project guidelines.
• Applicants must complete a brief multiple-choice knowledge assessment specific to brand marketing prior to review.
• Work must be conducted without using confidential or proprietary information from any employer, client, institution, or third party.
