This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the business performance and daily account relationships for a designated portfolio of licensees.
• Discover opportunities to boost licensed product sales, broaden product assortments, enhance retail distribution, and optimize royalty revenue.
• Facilitate the development, review, approval, and launch of licensed products.
• Evaluate product concepts, artwork, packaging, advertising, and marketing materials to ensure brand compliance.
• Track licensee performance, sales activities, product launches, royalty reporting, and adherence to contracts.
• Assist with licensing agreements, amendments, renewals, and associated documentation.
• Investigate market trends, competitive products, and category opportunities.
• Identify chances to enhance existing licensing relationships through products, distribution, promotions, and merchandising.
• Aid in new licensing business development through research, presentations, and outreach efforts.
• Organize product samples, trade shows, licensee meetings, and business development initiatives.
• Maintain licensing records, product approvals, royalty documentation, and licensee information within licensing management systems.
• Collaborate with the Legal, Marketing, Merchandising, Program, and Finance departments.
• Create reports, revenue forecasts, and business updates.
• Engage in licensee meetings, retail visits, industry events, and trade shows.
• Execute other job-related duties as assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressively responsible experience in brand licensing, consumer products, merchandising, business development, or a similar field.
• Experience in supporting licensed product development, account management, or brand partnerships is essential.
• Strong business acumen with knowledge of operational and strategic decision-making.
• Comprehensive understanding of retail operations and business objectives.
• Familiarity with trade show logistics and events.
• Knowledge of Scouting America’s programs is recommended.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Proven ability to drive results, cultivate partnerships, create solutions, and foster customer loyalty.
• Self-motivated individual who demonstrates initiative.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Meticulous attention to detail.
• Capability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Strong planning, prioritization, and organizational skills.
• Customer-focused with a collaborative approach and ability to take action.
