This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +1 more state.
• Implement the Sunbelt Standard across designated territories.
• Utilize the Branch Standard Playbook on-site.
• Enhance layouts, introduce color-coded zoning, centralize parts staging, and establish permanent visual management systems.
• Establish checking and auditing mechanisms and apply KPIs.
• Mentor branch teams on a daily basis and facilitate workshops to translate standard work into everyday practice.
• Cultivate relationships with branches and identify cultural obstacles to standardization.
• Act as a liaison between the Support Office and Branch Managers.
• Perform facility audits using the compliance maturity model.
• Assess baseline conditions, track progress, and certify locations.
• Develop feedback loops for ongoing improvement and pinpoint localized bottlenecks.
• Capture and replicate effective practices such as custom jigs and Poka-Yoke mechanisms.
• Collaborate with safety leadership to reduce operational hazards and integrate safe practices into processes.
• Document baseline and post-implementation conditions using photographs and KPI dashboards.
• Report field progress, KPI metrics, and enhancements to regional leaders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related area, or 5+ years of operational experience with organizations recognized for effective deployment of the Shingo Model, Toyota Management System, or Danaher Business System (DBS).
• 3–7 years of practical experience in continuous improvement, multi-site operations, or field-based program management.
• Experience in construction, industrial settings, or heavy equipment is preferred.
• Capability to implement 5S systems, Lean principles, and visual management controls directly on the shop floor.
• Proficient in accurately interpreting interpersonal cues and resolving conflicts constructively.
• Skilled in influencing stakeholders at all levels without having direct reporting authority.
• Quick assessment of environmental and cultural contexts to adapt implementation plans accordingly.
• Outstanding communication abilities and capacity to build consensus among diverse, cross-functional teams.
• Data-driven analytical skills connecting facility conditions with operational metrics.
• Willingness to travel up to 80% within the assigned territory or territories as required.
• Physical capability to bend, squat, crouch, reach, and lift up to 25 pounds or more.
• Ability to drive for extended periods, load and unload heavy equipment, work in extreme weather conditions, and work nights and weekends as necessary.
