Bookkeeper – Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Ensure prompt and accurate financial record-keeping in QuickBooks Online, categorizing expenses, payroll, and payments to the appropriate accounts and projects.

• Process vendor invoices, track spending discrepancies, and reconcile vendor statements.

• Oversee customer invoicing for ongoing agreements, project milestones, and Time & Material (T&M) billing.

• Conduct reconciliations for bank accounts, credit cards, and payroll.

• Develop custom Excel spreadsheets for financial tracking and reporting purposes.

• Support the creation and management of Sales Orders and Purchase Orders.

• Verify that vendor invoices correspond with distribution records.

• Assist in payroll reconciliation by accurately documenting benefits, taxes, and withholdings in QuickBooks Online.

• Adhere to financial procedures and escalate any risks or process failures that may impact cash flow.

• Collaborate with operations, project management, and leadership to ensure billing precision, cost transparency, and robust financial controls.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of demonstrated bookkeeping experience with a focus on Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.

• Advanced expertise in QuickBooks Online is essential.

• High-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including knowledge of Pivot tables, complex formulas, and reconciliation schedules.

• Experience with ConnectWise Manage or a similar PSA/Ticketing system is highly desirable.

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

• Exceptional attention to detail.

• Capability to recognize financial irregularities.

• Strong professional communication abilities.

• Professional working proficiency in English for documentation and reporting purposes.
