This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Process and post electronic remittances from all designated payers within the anticipated Turnaround Time utilizing macros, computer-based tools, and various systems.
• Achieve weekly and monthly production targets following training.
• Investigate payer websites to gather posting support.
• Recognize issues and trends associated with assigned payers.
• Ensure aged account receivables are managed in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures.
• Communicate with leadership and partner teams to guarantee accurate and prompt processing of remittances.
• Post accounts receivable and electronic/manual remittances from both private and government payers into the billing system.
• Reconcile files with money received using reports, macros, and tools.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least 1 year of accounts receivable experience.
• Proficiency in MS Office and Excel.
• Ability to manage time and tasks independently while maintaining productivity.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Adaptability to ever-changing priorities.
• Saturday rotation schedule.
• Preferred: 1 year or more of Labcorp Revenue Cycle Management experience.
• Preferred: 1 year or more of experience in healthcare, claims, explanation of benefits, cash posting, or billing.
