This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +3 more states.
• Investigate automobile accidents involving one or more vehicles that result in property damage and/or bodily injury, including cases with attorney or litigation involvement.
• Evaluate coverage, liability, and damages associated with claims.
• Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the claims process.
• Engage with customers and attorneys through voice calls, emails, and text messages.
• Negotiate equitable injury settlements with all parties concerned.
• Perform comprehensive damage assessments and interpret policies to ascertain coverage.
• Communicate with customers via phone, email, and occasionally video chat.
• Assess and negotiate claim settlements with customers, vendors, third-party carriers, and claimants.
• Utilize estimating tools, job aids, and settlement platforms effectively.
• Ensure timely and accurate claim documentation within the claims system.
• Safeguard the company's financial interests by adhering to policy agreements.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in handling Casualty Represented or Litigation third-party claims is required.
• Ability to operate independently and remotely while effectively managing time.
• Knowledge of insurance policies, coverage, and liability assessment.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to successfully evaluate and negotiate injury claims.
• Familiarity with innovative tools and platforms for efficient claims evaluation.
• Candidates residing in the Pacific, Mountain, and Central Time Zones are preferred.
• A dedicated, distraction-free workspace with suitable desk and seating is essential.
• Reliable internet connection with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload is required.
• Must consent to a background investigation.
• May be required to obtain an adjuster and/or appraiser license within 60 days of hire, if applicable.
