Bodily Injury Adjuster – Represented, Moderate/Complex

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Investigate automobile accidents that involve single or multiple vehicles resulting in property damage or bodily injury, often in conjunction with attorneys or litigation.

• Evaluate coverage, liability, and damages associated with claims.

• Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the claims process.

• Engage with customers and attorneys via phone calls, emails, text messages, and occasionally video chats.

• Utilize innovative platforms and tools to assess claims efficiently.

• Negotiate fair and timely settlements for injuries with customers, vendors, third-party carriers, and claimants.

• Conduct detailed damage assessments and interpret policy documents to ascertain coverage.

• Implement claims-handling methodologies in challenging and complex scenarios.

• Leverage estimate tools, job aids, and settlement platforms.

• Adhere to policies in accordance with policy agreements.

• Maintain organized, timely, and accurate documentation of claims within the claims system.

• Operate independently in a permanent remote role with a schedule of Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm EST.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a resident of the Eastern or Central time zones.

• Must reside within the United States.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in handling moderate to complex bodily injury claims.

• Previous experience with represented third-party casualty claims is preferred.

• Preferred experience with bodily injury claims in Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, Delaware, or Washington DC.

• Strong communication skills, particularly over the phone and through other channels.

• Ability to work independently and remotely while effectively managing time.

• Familiarity with insurance policies, coverage details, and liability assessments.

• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

• Knowledge of tools and platforms used for claims evaluation.

• A dedicated home workspace that is free from distractions.

• Minimum internet bandwidth of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload.

• An appropriate work surface and seating arrangement.

• Must consent to a background investigation.

• May be required to obtain an adjuster and/or appraiser license within 60 days of hire, if applicable.

• Individuals with an active insurance license must terminate existing appointments and cannot hold outside appointments during employment.

• Allstate typically does not sponsor individuals for employment-based visas for this role.
