Bodily Injury Adjuster – Litigation, Moderate/Complex

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Investigate car accidents involving single or multiple vehicles that result in property damage and/or bodily injury, collaborating with attorneys or litigation teams.

• Evaluate coverage, liability, and damages related to claims.

• Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the claims process.

• Engage with customers and attorneys via voice calls, email, and text messaging.

• Utilize platforms and tools to negotiate fair and prompt injury settlements.

• Conduct thorough damage assessments and interpret insurance policies to establish coverage.

• Keep customers informed about the status of their claims using their preferred communication methods.

• Assess and negotiate settlements with customers, vendors, third-party carriers, and claimants.

• Implement legal and business-standard methodologies and negotiation strategies for complex situations.

• Leverage estimating tools, job aids, and settlement platforms as needed.

• Ensure timely and accurate documentation within the claims system.

• Safeguard the company financially by adhering to policy agreements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Candidates must reside in the Eastern or Central time zones.

• Must be located within the United States.

• At least 3 years of experience handling moderate to complex bodily injury claims.

• Previous experience with represented or litigation third-party casualty claims is preferred.

• Experience with bodily injury claims in New York, New Jersey, or Pennsylvania is preferred.

• Excellent communication skills, particularly over the phone.

• Ability to work independently and remotely while efficiently managing time.

• Familiarity with insurance policies, coverage details, and liability assessments.

• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

• Knowledge of tools and platforms for claims assessment.

• Must have a dedicated, distraction-free home office.

• Minimum internet speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload are required.

• Appropriate work surface and seating must be available.

• Background investigation is required.

• An adjuster and/or appraiser license may be necessary within 60 days of hire, if applicable.

• Active insurance license holders must cancel existing appointments and cannot hold outside appointments during employment.

• Applicants with a resident producer license must surrender it when instructed.

• Allstate typically does not sponsor individuals for employment-based visas for this position.
