This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Perform comprehensive assessments of clinical cases
β’ Review medical records
β’ Deliver clinical summaries
β’ Participate in peer communications
β’ Respond to specific inquiries from clients
β’ Generate advisory-only clinical determinations and reports
β’ Board Certification in Gastroenterology
β’ Valid, unrestricted medical license
β’ Over 5 years of clinical practice experience and currently practicing
β’ Preferred experience in conducting Disability Peer Reviews
β’ Must maintain necessary credentialing, state licenses, and any required certifications to perform the job
β’ Independent consultant position offers flexible scheduling and predictable work hours; choose services and case types, control volume, and work based on available schedule
β’ Provide advisory-only opinions; no doctor/patient relationship is established and no treatment is administered
β’ Typical turnaround time of 3β5 business days, depending on the level of review
β’ Efficient case flow and an easy-to-use work portal
β’ Administrative assistance including communication, organization of medical records, case preparation, and timely delivery of determinations and reports
β’ Initial training provided along with ongoing support for any inquiries
