This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in China.
• Promote a growing range of high-value products and adaptable solutions for the production of biologic drugs, gene therapies, and cell therapies.
• Oversee strategic biopharmaceutical accounts while driving consumable and system-based opportunities throughout the entire bioprocess workflow.
• Formulate sales strategies and plans tailored to the assigned territory.
• Identify leads and opportunities, building and managing a strong sales pipeline.
• Market and sell upstream, downstream, and single-use products, highlighting product differentiators and value propositions.
• Assist in market research, major customer projects, product launches, and product development efforts.
• Execute marketing initiatives, such as road shows, seminars, promotions, and the development of sales materials.
• Oversee sales processes, lead records, sales activities, and funnel management using Salesforce.com.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with key accounts.
• Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders, providing timely sales reporting and forecasting.
• Sustain relationships with market infrastructure partners while identifying new business opportunities.
• Advocate for customers and markets within the organization, sharing insights on products, markets, and competitors.
• Supply Manufacturing and QA/QC operations with data for forecasting, complaint resolution, and facility audits.
• Carry out field sales activities, including customer visits, technical presentations, laboratory demonstrations, and quote negotiations.
• Attend, manage, and follow up on trade shows to generate leads.
• Drive strategic opportunities related to systems and consumables involving filtration, TFF, chromatography, and single-use technologies.
• Support customer projects related to scale-up, technology transfer, validation, and commercial manufacturing.
• Establish relationships with stakeholders across manufacturing, engineering, process development, procurement, and QA.
• Lead commercial discussions and coordination for large-scale capital equipment and strategic projects.
• Identify opportunities for competitive displacement and develop plans for account penetration.
• A Bachelor’s degree or higher in a scientific field (biology/biochemistry) or a related discipline.
• At least 8 years of experience in the biopharmaceutical or life sciences sectors.
• Strong understanding of cell culture, chromatography, and filtration technologies.
• Familiarity with upstream and downstream processing is advantageous.
• Demonstrated successful sales achievements and experience in key account management.
• Experience managing significant biopharmaceutical or CDMO accounts is preferred.
• Background in system business, single-use technologies, and process equipment is highly desirable.
• Experience in supporting complex customer projects, CDMO environments, and capital equipment opportunities is highly valued.
• Excellent analytical, forecasting, and management abilities.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Solid technical and business acumen.
• Effective stakeholder management and influencing capabilities.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently to meet defined objectives.
• Capability to collaborate well within global, cross-functional teams.
• Willingness and flexibility to work varying hours to suit client schedules.
• Proficient in MS Office and Salesforce.com.
• Fluent in English—listening, reading, writing, and speaking skills required.
• Proven track record of completing projects valued at over 5 million USD.
• Strong strategic account management skills and the ability to influence complex customer decision-making processes.
• Ability to manage lengthy sales cycles and multifaceted customer projects.
• Comprehensive understanding of bioprocess manufacturing workflows from upstream to downstream operations.
