This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Execute technical tasks related to the installation, repair, preventive maintenance, and calibration of OEM medical devices or systems.
• Conduct technical inspections and maintain precise records of inspections, repairs, calibrations, and work performed.
• Fulfill scheduled preventive maintenance, respond to unplanned maintenance, and implement necessary equipment upgrades.
• Install and uninstall OEM equipment, perform site inspections, and engage with customers and contractors as required.
• Ensure customer satisfaction through exceptional service delivery.
• Accurately complete and submit expense reports following department guidelines.
• Provide training to customers on the basic operation and use of medical devices.
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries through written communication, in-person interactions, or telephone calls.
• Elevate customer concerns and unresolved product issues to service management in line with escalation protocols.
• Advocate for service contracts and assist the Sales team in promoting service agreements within the designated territory.
• Adhere to Probo’s safety, quality, and productivity standards and policies.
• Accurately and timely complete installations, deinstallations, repairs, maintenance, and regulatory compliance paperwork.
• Manage inventory, maintain accurate records, and ensure the prompt return of unused and defective parts.
• Timely perform preventive maintenance, provide expedited on-site responses, and minimize equipment downtime.
• Primarily work in hospitals, clinics, and medical facilities, while also handling administrative duties from a home office.
• Report directly to the VP of Service Delivery - DI.
• Bachelor’s degree in electronics, biomedical engineering, biomedical technology, electrical engineering, or a related field; military equivalency is acceptable.
• Prior mechanical or electronics experience in a field service, hospital environment, or military setting.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office, software operating systems, and networking technology.
• Experience collaborating with internal team members and external customers in a solution-oriented service process.
• Familiarity with standard electronic testing equipment, such as digital multimeters and safety analyzers.
• Ability to interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, illustrated parts diagrams, and technical manuals for biomedical and imaging instruments.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record; must pass a motor vehicle record check.
• Capacity to meet hospital credentialing requirements, including customer or facility-mandated drug testing and immunizations.
• Competency in problem-solving, analytical thinking, independent work, and professional communication.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime, often with short notice.

• Capability to operate a motor vehicle.
• Valid state driver’s license and a clean driving record.
