Field Service Technician II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.

📋 Description

• Commission, repair, and maintain mechanical and electrical equipment related to new Data Center Cooling projects.

• Analyze work orders, blueprints, schematic diagrams, and associated materials to identify tasks, tools, equipment, and parts necessary for installation or repair.

• Oversee complex jobs to lessen the impact on customers’ properties and experiences while minimizing financial liabilities for the company.

• Collaborate with building owners, general and mechanical contractors, engineers, and local service providers.

• Consult with engineering and manufacturing teams to address unusual system operation and maintenance challenges.

• Deliver exceptional customer service to both internal and external stakeholders while upholding a professional appearance and demeanor.

• Provide management with insights on customer satisfaction, product performance, and suggestions for product improvements.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

• Three to five years of experience in installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting; HVAC servicing or comparable electromechanical experience is preferred.

• Willingness to travel approximately 85% of the time to various job sites for commissioning and warranty work.

• Exceptional analytical skills and keen attention to detail.

• Capability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and manuals.

• Ability to remain on a project through root cause analysis.

• Outstanding customer service skills with a commitment to exceeding internal and external customer expectations.

• Proficient in working independently in a timely manner, ensuring tasks are completed accurately with external technicians, and able to follow up on parts delivery.

• Trade/technical school education or certification is a plus.

• Experience with industrial HVAC equipment or similar electromechanical products is preferred.

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.

• Intermediate experience with commercial projects.

• Building automation experience is a plus.
