📋 Description

• Create innovative and complex tasks in computational genomics and bioinformatics that evaluate the capabilities of advanced AI agents.

• Develop realistic, multi-step processes utilizing biological datasets such as FASTA/FASTQ, VCF, BAM/SAM, BED, TSV/CSV, expression data, and sequence annotations.

• Construct tasks that demand scientific judgment, such as identifying data anomalies, managing uncertainty, choosing suitable methodologies, and adjusting assumptions based on preliminary findings.

• Prepare detailed task specifications, input datasets, anticipated output formats, and objectively verifiable ground truths.

• Create expert reference solutions and reproducible computational workflows utilizing Python, command-line tools, and bioinformatics libraries.

• Assess the scientific accuracy, feasibility, and challenge level suitable for advanced AI models.

• Develop solid grading criteria that differentiate scientifically valid solutions from superficially convincing results.

• Ensure that deliverables are reproducible, thoroughly documented, and appropriate for client evaluation.

• Integrate reviewer feedback while upholding high standards of quality and productivity.

• Report on progress, obstacles, and scientific or technical needs to project leads and reviewers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Ph.D., postdoctoral experience, or equivalent research experience in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Genomics, Computational Genetics, or a closely related field.

• Strong practical programming skills in Python.

• Hands-on experience analyzing biological sequence or genomics datasets.

• Familiarity with Linux or command-line computational environments.

• Ability to independently validate scientific reasoning, computational approaches, and analytical results.
