Binding Operations Coordinator – Transportation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Accurately and promptly review and process binding requests.

• Validate application information against entries in the carrier system and make necessary updates.

• Bind coverage within carrier platforms in accordance with underwriting directives and carrier protocols.

• Complete all necessary filings and binding documentation.

• Assess endorsement requests and establish processing requirements.

• Collaborate with underwriters, retail agents, and carrier representatives.

• Address inquiries regarding binding status, endorsement processing, requirements, and discrepancies.

• Provide support to offshore processing teams dealing with complex endorsement scenarios.

• Escalate intricate issues or discrepancies as needed.

• Manage the workload of binding and endorsements to achieve service levels and turnaround expectations.

• Identify inconsistencies and implement corrective measures.

• Assist with complex endorsement requests that necessitate additional underwriting analysis.

• Contribute to process enhancements and standard operating procedures.

• Aid in the onboarding and training of new team members.

• Work alongside leadership to enhance operational efficiency and standardization.

• Share insights and best practices throughout the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in insurance operations, underwriting support, or a similar role.

• Familiarity with transportation insurance or the ability to quickly learn transportation-specific processes.

• Strong attention to detail, emphasizing data accuracy and quality control.

• Proven problem-solving abilities and capacity to manage escalated or complex tasks.

• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders.

• Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Teams, and OneNote is advantageous.
