This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct thorough QA/QC assessments of shop drawings, BIM models, and project outputs for yard piping and above-grade flanged piping systems related to water and wastewater treatment facility projects.

• Verify deliverables against project specifications, conformed drawings, approved submittals, takeoffs, addenda, and other contractual obligations.

• Assess constructability and pinpoint potential installation issues prior to fabrication or field execution.

• Review designs to ensure interdisciplinary coordination among civil, structural, mechanical, process, and electrical systems.

• Detect clashes, inconsistencies, omissions, and potential fabrication or installation challenges.

• Ensure that corrective measures are taken before project release.

• Collaborate with BIM/VDC Specialists, Project Managers, and Contractors to communicate findings and facilitate issue resolution.

• Enhance and sustain BIM/VDC quality standards, workflows, templates, and quality review procedures.

• Offer technical guidance and mentorship to members of the BIM/VDC team.

• Engage in project kickoff, design review, and coordination meetings.

• Contribute to process improvement initiatives that enhance quality, consistency, efficiency, and scalability within the BIM/VDC organization.


⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in engineering, construction science, architecture, or a related field, along with 2+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

• A solid understanding of construction pertaining to water and wastewater treatment facilities, piping systems, and BIM/VDC project delivery.

• Capability to create BIM/VDC models and update them using current construction documents and specifications.

• Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.

• Experience with Revit Software is highly preferred.

• Previous experience in waterworks is strongly preferred.

• Basic understanding of mechanical systems and equipment.

• Proficiency in Autodesk software as well as Microsoft Office applications.

• Strong organizational and time management skills.

• Effective presentation and writing abilities.

• Capability to discuss projects with clients and promote open communication.

• Ability to collaborate within a team environment.

• High level of integrity, exceptional attention to detail, and critical-thinking skills.
