This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom, +1 more state.
• Create and sustain comprehensive 2D and 3D models utilizing Revit (with a focus on MEP) and AutoCAD.
• Analyze mark-ups and design modifications to revise drawings accordingly.
• Produce and uphold drawings and models for the tender, construction, and installation phases.
• Convert hand sketches and engineering ideas into production-ready drawings.
• Assist in adhering to QA/QC standards, BIM execution plans, and documentation requirements.
• Collaborate with engineering, sales, and site installation teams.
• Generate as-built documentation in conjunction with installation engineers.
• Coordinate with external stakeholders and support clash detection, drawing review, and resolution of issues.
• Manage specific project design elements and ensure timely delivery to project milestones.
• Confirm that outputs comply with both internal and client design standards.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a design-related environment.
• Previous experience in the construction industry is essential.
• Experience in data center construction is a significant advantage.
• Capability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
• A background in electrical design, security systems, or infrastructure design is preferred.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, ideally MEP, along with AutoCAD.
• Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Familiarity with BIM 360, Navisworks, or similar model coordination platforms is beneficial.
• Experience with Bluebeam Revu for markup and drawing review is a plus.
• Solid understanding of BIM workflows and drawing standards; knowledge of ISO 19650 is desirable.
• Exceptional attention to detail and drawing accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and proactively address design challenges.
• Strong collaborative skills within a team-oriented environment.
• Effective time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in English with clear written and verbal communication abilities.
