BIM Modeler

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create and uphold precise BIM models in Revit and AutoCAD in compliance with ADRM standards and project specifications.

• Generate comprehensive design documentation, which includes drawings, countermeasure layouts, cabling and conduit schedules, device typicals, risers, and associated specifications.

• Detect clashes and assist in model coordination reviews utilizing Navisworks Manage.

• Modify project models to incorporate design updates, coordination results, and project milestones.

• Adhere to ADRM BIM standards, templates, and workflows to ensure consistency and quality in modeling.

• Collaborate with internal design teams and project stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate deliverables.

• Assist with model audits and quality checks under the supervision of the BIM Manager or Project Lead.

• Engage in internal knowledge sharing and enhance modeling practices and documentation efficiency.

• Carry out additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in Engineering/Engineering Technology, Construction Management, Architecture/Architectural Technology, Computer-Aided Drafting and Design, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a Security Design and Production environment.

• Required experience in the security industry, with a solid understanding of physical security systems, design standards, and client environments.

• Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and Bluebeam Revu applications.

• Skilled in Microsoft Office applications.

• Capable of working independently as well as in a collaborative team environment.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Strong organizational abilities.

• Ability to maintain a professional and positive demeanor.

• Capacity to concentrate for extended periods.
