BIM Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee and direct BIM services for architectural and owner clients utilizing Revit and associated platforms.

• Act as the main BIM contact for designated clients and projects.

• Create, implement, and sustain Revit templates, family libraries, standards, and workflows.

• Assist project teams in developing BIM strategies, initiating projects, and planning execution.

• Offer advanced technical support and guidance for Revit-centered projects, including Scan-to-BIM processes.

• Set up and evaluate project health checks to ensure compliance with standards, model quality, and successful delivery.

• Formulate client-specific BIM objectives and implementation plans that align with project and organizational goals.

• Provide and manage training programs, documentation, and best practice materials for client teams.

• Aid in the setup of Autodesk Construction Cloud projects, including permissions and workflows.

• Work together with client IT teams on infrastructure, licensing, and system requirements.

• Support Autodesk license management and the integration of add-ins such as Ideate, Enscape, Navisworks, and Dynamo.

• Participate in research, development, and ongoing improvement efforts within the BIM team.

• Guide junior BIM personnel and promote knowledge sharing throughout the organization.

• Utilize sound judgment and problem-solving abilities to assist in resolving conflicts and challenges with BIM adoption.

• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the architectural design process from pre-design to construction administration.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional experience with Revit in an architectural or BIM leadership capacity.

• A Bachelor of Architecture degree (or an equivalent qualification) is mandatory.

• Demonstrated experience in managing BIM standards, templates, and workflows across various projects or clients.

• Strong proficiency in Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC / BIM 360).

• Experience in training, mentoring, or leading BIM users and project teams.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage directly with clients and stakeholders.

• Capability to work independently with minimal oversight.

• Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team.

• Familiarity with Scan-to-BIM workflows and point cloud-based modeling is advantageous.
