BIM Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Assist the Design & Engineering team throughout the development of high-profile projects, from design to construction, tailored to client requirements.

• Establish BIM strategy and oversee BIM activities on selected projects.

• Ensure quality of BIM across projects and work collaboratively with BIM Leadership on pilot initiatives.

• Develop and manage project personnel and processes for effective BIM implementation within project controls.

• Oversee the complete lifecycle of model development and functionality, including 3D, 4D, and 5D model creation and integration.

• Manage the review and validation of construction models, including contractor submittals for 4D/5D models.

• Provide and organize virtual model data for presentations and reports on construction progress.

• Offer technical advice, coaching, and support on BIM implementation and usage.

• Lead technical BIM efforts at the project level and ensure alignment of modeling/BIM processes with client-end applications.

• Develop, assess, approve, and uphold BIM standards, implementation strategies, and quality control measures.

• Collaborate with Country BIM leaders to synchronize systems, processes, and documentation with global standards and best practices.

• Review progress, compliance, and clash detection reports utilizing platforms such as BIM360 or Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC).

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 10+ years of experience in BIM environments and applications.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Aided Design, Information Management, IT, or equivalent professional experience.

• At least 3+ years of experience in integrating and applying BIM within a multi-disciplinary setting.

• Proven experience managing a team of over 5 BIM modelers.

• A passion for and capability to drive automation processes.

• Competence in providing input regarding engineering budgets and timelines.

• Ability to manage technical resources on large and complex projects.
