Billing System Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Oversee and configure the Comarch BSS platform, with a focus on Product Catalog, Billing, and Billing Mediation.

• Track platform performance, system tasks, error logs, and runtime incidents.

• Analyze data discrepancies and determine their underlying causes.

• Supervise system interfaces and integrations to guarantee seamless end-to-end data flows.

• Assist with backup and recovery processes and solutions that enhance system availability.

• Set up data connections and integrations, assuming technical responsibility post-implementation.

• Aid in audit controls, security requirements, and compliance-related tasks.

• Adhere to the BSS roadmap, conduct Proofs of Concept, and maintain technical documentation.

• Participate in platform upgrades, patches, introduction of new features, and resolution of technical issues.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of three years' experience with Comarch BSS, specifically in Product Catalog, Billing, or Billing Mediation.

• Proficient in SQL for data analysis, record tracing, and troubleshooting.

• At least two years of experience with enterprise system integrations and integration tools.

• Knowledge of billing processes, encompassing invoicing, rating, and usage-based billing.

• Familiar with Oracle or PostgreSQL databases and Elasticsearch.

• Hands-on experience with Linux, REST API testing, and Apache Kafka.

• Proficient in English at a B2 level or higher.

• Additional advantages: experience with enterprise systems such as CRM, ERP, data warehouses, or event-streaming solutions.

• Additional advantages: familiarity with Apache Cassandra.

• Additional advantages: knowledge of Kubernetes.

• Additional advantage: English proficiency at a C1 level.

• Active utilization of AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or GitHub Copilot.
