Billing Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Manage contracts for software, subscriptions, hardware, and support renewals.

• Support the procurement of third-party products and services.

• Record revenue and direct costs of sales in accordance with revenue recognition policies.

• Review contracts to determine customer amounts owed, factoring in discounts, special rates, and credits.

• Recognize and appropriately address non-standard contract terms.

• Input sales orders into the company’s ERP system based on contract specifications.

• Oversee procurement processes for third-party vendors and service providers.

• Generate purchase orders and monitor product delivery to customers.

• Provide assistance to both internal and external customers.

• Process credit requests with the Accounts Receivable team.

• Identify and rectify billing issues, discrepancies, and errors.

• Update billing records as necessary.

• Notify management of revenue-impacting issues and potential interruptions.

• Participate in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes and audit requests.

• Meet month-end deadlines alongside the Billing Team.

• Review and submit vendor invoices to the Accounts Payable department.

• Associate’s Degree or equivalent work experience is required.

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is necessary.

• Previous experience in billing is required.

• Willingness to work some overtime.

• Ability to work remotely within the US.
