Billing Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Timely submission of claims to insurance plans for patient services.

• Follow up on the status of claims and address submission errors and unjust denials.

• Accurately manage payment procedures, financial records, and claims processes.

• Collaborate closely with the revenue cycle team on patient accounting, statement management, payment posting, and reconciliation.

• Execute additional tasks as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience in healthcare billing, revenue cycle, and/or patient accounting.

• Experience in medical billing, coding, and/or health insurance.

• Specific expertise with CMS 1500 claims.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills with diverse teams.

• Highly organized and results-oriented.

• Comfortable in a dynamic environment that undergoes rapid change and innovation.

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer.

• Must not require employment visa sponsorship now or in the future.
