Revenue and Billing Operations Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the billing function and play a key role in revenue accounting.

• Streamline manual billing tasks, reconciliations, invoice creation, exception identification, and data validation through automation.

• Develop AI-assisted workflows that include review processes and controls ensuring accuracy and readiness for audits.

• Enhance revenue accounting records and documentation.

• Assess and implement effective billing solutions.

• Create and prioritize a roadmap for automation while measuring time savings.

• Establish scalable billing processes that minimize reliance on specific individuals.

• Collaborate with Sales, Legal, and Accounting to address contract, policy, and downstream billing implications.

• Map the complete revenue and billing process within the initial 30 days.

• Automate at least one high-volume manual billing task from start to finish within the first 90 days.

• Achieve an audit-ready improvement in revenue accounting within the first two quarters.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven fluency in AI, capable of identifying finance processes for automation, constructing workflows, and validating AI outputs.

• Extensive experience in revenue accounting and billing operations at a senior level.

• Practical experience in evaluating and implementing billing solutions.

• Background in automating billing or financial processes.

• Experience in leading external audits.

• Proficiency in establishing and maintaining processes and controls that are audit-ready.

• Strategic insight into the sequencing of automation and the establishment of scalable controls.

• A hands-on builder's mentality with a focus on detail-oriented tasks.

• Effective cross-functional communication skills with Sales, Legal, and Accounting teams.
