📋 Description

• Lead, mentor, and develop the billing team.

• Oversee staffing, performance evaluations, training, and professional growth.

• Encourage accountability, teamwork, and outstanding client service.

• Supervise billing operations, including the preparation, review, submission, and tracking of client invoices.

• Manage eBilling and alternative fee structures.

• Collaborate with attorneys, practice group leaders, and Finance teams to address complex billing issues.

• Support client service goals and enhance revenue cycle performance.

• Oversee aged Work in Progress (WIP) and realization metrics.

• Analyze billing metrics and operational efficiency.

• Identify risks and opportunities while implementing process enhancements.

• Drive system and workflow improvements.

• Advocate for effective utilization of technology and reporting tools.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of technical training and experience.

• At least 5 years of management experience.

• Minimum of 10 years of progressive billing experience in a legal or professional services setting.

• Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, mentor, and manage high-performing teams.

• Expertise in professional services billing, including billing operations, client billing protocols, alternative fee structures, eBilling requirements, and revenue cycle management.

• Strong analytical and strategic problem-solving abilities.

• Advanced technical, project management, and communication skills.

• Proficiency in billing systems and reporting tools.

• Capability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
