Dental Insurance Billing Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Oversee the dental revenue cycle, which encompasses insurance payment posting and claims processing.

• Submit accurate claims and address any claim rejections and denials.

• Implement insurance payment adjustments and manage Explanation of Benefits (EOB) procedures.

• Maintain accounts receivable and strive to minimize insurance aging.

• Leverage payer portals, clearinghouses, and practice management software effectively.

• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain precise documentation of patient accounts.

• Provide support for a portfolio of 4 to 5 dental practice clients.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in dental insurance billing, including management of multi-office accounts.

• Comprehensive knowledge of CDT coding, dental terminology, and revenue cycle management.

• Proficient in utilizing insurance payer websites, EFT retrieval, claims submission, and payment posting.

• Familiarity with clearinghouses; experience with Vyne is preferred.

• Skilled in Eaglesoft, Open Dental, Dentrix, Microsoft Office, and Microsoft Teams.

• Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and communication abilities.

• High school diploma or GED is required; college coursework is preferred.

• Must maintain a posting accuracy of 98% or higher.

• Expected to achieve a minimum audit score of 90%.
