Bilingual Roadside Assistance – French

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Manage incoming customer inquiries related to roadside assistance.

• Make outbound calls to customers, roadside assistance service providers, and other relevant personnel.

• Offer guidance and expertise to assist customers in continuing their move.

• Prioritize the safety of customers at all times.

• Adhere to established methods and procedures.

• Handle files with a sense of calm urgency, professionalism, and care.

• Achieve quality-related metrics and objectives.

• Engage in self-directed learning through U-Haul University and additional eLearning opportunities.

• Support customers within the first week of employment.

• Conduct customer interactions with instructor assistance during the initial training phase.

• Participate in fast-paced, hands-on training following a defined schedule.

• Start performing certain job responsibilities with customers from day one.

• Work remotely from a private, quiet workspace.

⛳️ Requirements

• Fluency in both English and French is required.

• Completion of Tech Skills and Game Criteria Assessments is necessary.

• Ability to convey sympathy, empathy, and compassion effectively.

• Strong critical thinking skills and adaptability.

• Intermediate skills in keyboarding and computer usage.

• Active listening and attentiveness are essential.

• Capability to type while conversing; a typing speed of 40 WPM or higher is advantageous.

• Proficient in composing sentences through written communication.

• Ability to navigate and utilize multiple computer programs simultaneously.

• Exceptional verbal communication and listening abilities.

• Clear and articulate speaking voice.

• Basic understanding of U.S. and Canadian geography.

• Familiarity with mapping locations using various programs or applications.

• Openness to incorporating feedback for performance enhancement.

• Availability on weekends, specifically Saturday and Sunday.

• Must be available to work on designated holidays.

• Must work from a private, quiet workspace at home.

• Personal home computer must meet specified technical requirements.

• Operating system should be Windows 11.

• Minimum of 16GB RAM is required.

• CPU benchmark score of at least 6,000 is necessary.

• SSD should have at least 5GB of free space.

• Bluetooth capability must be enabled.

• Webcam and wired USB headset are required.

• Internet speeds should be a minimum of 50MB download and 5MB upload, with a ping under 100.

• Applicants must be legally authorized to work in Canada and should not require employer sponsorship.
