Bilingual Medical Scribe – Ophthalmology Experience Required

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nicaragua, +5 more countries.

📋 Description

• Accompany the physician from room to room during the clinic day, documenting each patient interaction in real time.

• Update and maintain precise clinical notes as the examination progresses.

• Translate and communicate patient information to the physician.

• Continuously utilize an iPad throughout the shift, keeping pace with the physician's exam flow.

• Accurately finalize notes to ensure they are complete and support the clinical record.

⛳️ Requirements

• Previous experience in scribing specifically for an ophthalmologist.

• Strong understanding of ophthalmic terminology, examination components, and common diagnoses/procedures.

• Ability to work continuously on an iPad in a fast-paced, room-to-room clinical environment.

• Excellent attention to detail and precision in real-time documentation.

• Comfortable acting as a communication link between patients and the healthcare provider.

• Experience with ModMed EMR is preferable.
