This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Manage and take responsibility for all new corporate business implementation projects, ensuring that operational requirements are fulfilled.
• Lead and enhance the end-to-end implementation process utilizing industry best practices.
• Oversee changes, risks, issues, and action items related to new business projects.
• Provide project updates to stakeholders through regular status reports and meetings.
• Serve as the primary contact for external clients and Client Services Teams.
• Participate in new group installation meetings.
• Work collaboratively with operational departments within Medavie Blue Cross to ensure client needs are achievable and satisfied.
• Review and consolidate detailed documentation, including original proposals and previous carrier contracts.
• Convert documentation requirements into specifications for Medavie Blue Cross.
• Ensure a superior customer experience by focusing on timeliness, quality, and project management.
• Collaborate closely with external customers and internal teams on designated projects.
• A university or college diploma.
• Insurance qualifications such as LOMA or CEBS, or a willingness to obtain these qualifications.
• At least three to five years of experience in group health/dental and life and disability insurance.
• Experience in project management or a similar analytical role is highly preferred.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in computer skills.
• Familiarity with various software applications, particularly the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Previous experience with MS Project is considered an advantage.
• Bilingual proficiency in French and English is required.
• Strong comprehension of the group insurance/benefits sector.
