Bilingual Associate Mental Health Therapist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• Deliver counseling and therapeutic services to patients via telemedicine.

• Utilize evidence-based treatment methods such as CBT, DBT, Solution-Focused Therapy, Psychoeducation, Trauma Therapy, Addiction Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Bereavement/Grief Counseling.

• Apply treatment techniques in both individual and group therapy environments.

• Involve patients actively in their treatment plans.

• Review and authorize psychosocial assessments, diagnoses, treatment plans, and consents as necessary.

• Keep clinic records updated and document service delivery activities.

• Ensure that documentation adheres to clinical best practices, contractual obligations, regulatory standards, and legal requirements.

• Perform crisis intervention for individuals and families in accordance with safety plans.

• Collaborate in case planning with the Multidisciplinary Team.

• Engage in both individual and group supervision.

• Participate in ongoing education, in-services, training, post-testing, skill observation, and competency evaluations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possess an active and unrestricted Arizona mental health license.

• Maintain an active and unrestricted mental health license in both the state of primary residence and the state where medical services are provided.

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (mandatory).

• Comfortable working in a remote setting.

• Exhibit a patient-first approach.

• Accumulation of 80 or more clinical supervised hours qualifies for the higher compensation tier.

• Capability to work both remotely and in person if necessary.

• Ability to remain seated for extended periods during work hours.

• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for using a computer keyboard, mouse, and office equipment.

• Adequate vision for reading computer screens and written documents.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills for virtual meetings and correspondence.

• Sufficient hearing ability for phone calls or virtual meetings.

• Access to a quiet, dedicated workspace with stable internet connectivity.

• Successful completion of a comprehensive background check and drug screening as a condition of employment.
