This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Engage with patients in accordance with the established cadence to gather updates related to reimbursement and essential information for case advancement.
• Accurately and promptly update and maintain patient records, documenting reimbursement activities, outcomes, and communications.
• Assist in reimbursement procedures by collecting, reviewing, and recording details regarding coverage, claims status, and patient access.
• Raise reimbursement challenges, coverage obstacles, and case-specific issues to the appropriate team members.
• Report any adverse events detected during patient interactions in line with company policies and procedures.
• Ensure accurate and up-to-date records in relevant systems and departmental files.
• Gather reimbursement-related information for reporting, tracking, and case management purposes.
• Carry out general administrative duties, including managing mail, entering documents, and maintaining filing systems.
• Process co-pay requests for patients, pharmacies, and/or physicians as necessary.
• Collaborate with program managers, accounting, and third-party payment administrators to ensure achievement of KPIs, timely payments, and payment accuracy.
• Schedule appointments and coordinate meeting room arrangements.
• Verify and update site-specific reports, investigate errors and discrepancies, make necessary corrections, and inform relevant staff.
• Prepare correspondence and presentations for both internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage multiple projects across various departments and business segments.
• Participate in both planned and unplanned departmental initiatives.
• Work with internal teams and management to address case and workload challenges.
• Foster positive and professional working relationships.
• Adhere to relevant policies, privacy requirements, safety regulations, and program guidelines.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Post-secondary education in a relevant field.
• 1-3 years of experience in an administrative capacity within a pharmaceutical environment.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite applications.
• Demonstrated accuracy in processing significant volumes of data.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Capacity to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
• Flexibility to adapt to changes and a willingness to acquire new skills as needed.
• Bilingual proficiency in French and English is mandatory.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and mathematical capabilities.
• Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to resolve problems effectively.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
