This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +11 more states.
• Design, create, and sustain essential data infrastructure that drives analytics.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to grasp the operational business model and convert it into effective data solutions.
• Assist with finance data modeling efforts.
• Oversee data integrations for the existing Oracle EBS ERP system.
• Lead the forthcoming migration to Workday.
• Develop and uphold resilient ETL/ELT pipelines utilizing Snowflake and AWS.
• Construct modular and scalable dbt Core data models employing Medallion architecture with Bronze, Silver, and Gold layers.
• Convert intricate financial workflows into dependable data solutions.
• Compose reusable, efficient, and scalable code in Python and SQL.
• Implement data governance, security best practices, and RBAC throughout pipelines.
• Create automated data quality testing frameworks, ensure data observability, and maintain thorough documentation.
• Analyze resource usage and optimize Snowflake queries to monitor cloud costs.
• A bachelor's degree in a technical discipline and 3-5 years of relevant industry experience.
• Extensive background with Snowflake and demonstrated expertise in developing scalable data solutions in AWS.
• Profound knowledge of dbt Core, principles of Medallion architecture, dimensional modeling techniques, and complex data transformations.
• Verified experience in finance data modeling and a solid understanding of enterprise ERP systems.
• Strong knowledge of data governance, security protocols, and RBAC to securely manage and safeguard sensitive enterprise financial data.
• Advanced SQL proficiency for database querying and adeptness in Python for data processing tasks.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git and the implementation of CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
