Bid Manager, Government & Public Sector IT

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Identify and search for pertinent Government, PSU, and enterprise IT tenders

• Monitor GeM, CPPP, state e-procurement platforms, PSU portals, and other tender sites

• Analyze RFP, RFI, RFQ, EOI, and tender documents

• Assess eligibility, technical specifications, commercial conditions, timelines, and associated risks

• Formulate clear Go / No-Go recommendations

• Oversee the entire bidding process from opportunity identification to submission

• Draft technical proposals, commercial proposals, compliance matrices, and BOQs

• Collaborate with technical, finance, legal, sales, and management teams

• Manage EMD, PBG/BG, and tender documentation

• Monitor corrigenda, amendments, pre-bid inquiries, and clarifications

• Assist with pricing and commercial evaluation

• Track submitted bids until award or closure

• Maintain an organized tender pipeline and submission database

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in IT tendering or bid management

• Significant experience with Government / PSU tenders in India

• Practical knowledge of GeM, CPPP, and e-procurement portals

• Experience in managing full RFP / RFQ / tender submissions

• Strong skills in proposal writing and documentation

• Solid understanding of both technical and commercial tender requirements

• Capability to handle multiple bids and meet deadlines

• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills

• Preferred experience in cloud, data centers, IT infrastructure, networking, cybersecurity, managed services, or system integration
