This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Validate benefits for all insurance plans
• Submit and monitor authorizations
• Liaise with clinic personnel, billing department, and patients
• Conduct data entry tasks
• Confirm up-to-date personal and financial information
• Organize patient charts and electronic medical records
• Collect, record, and deposit patient payments
• Utilize eFax and efile systems
• Execute additional duties as assigned
• Operate in a supportive, positive atmosphere while providing exceptional patient care in an outpatient orthopedic setting
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license required
• Minimum of 1 year of prior experience in a medical front office, specifically in benefits and authorizations
• Exceptional telephone communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Previous experience with medical software is preferred
• Must be available and flexible with working hours
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent time management and organizational abilities
• Team-oriented with a positive demeanor and a commitment to outstanding customer service
