
Benefits & Leave Administrator – Contract

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Address employee inquiries regarding benefits and resolve related questions and escalations.
• Manage and assist with U.S. health and welfare programs, encompassing medical, dental, vision, HSA/FSA, life, disability, and 401(k) offerings.
• Aid in leave administration, including FMLA, disability, parental, and other company-specific leaves.
• Collaborate with employees, HR, payroll, and leave vendors to ensure smooth operations.
• Investigate and resolve issues related to enrollment, eligibility, deductions, carrier integration, and vendors.
• Examine and reconcile benefits invoices while coordinating prompt payments with Accounts Payable.
• Conduct regular benefits audits and reconciliations to identify and rectify enrollment or data inconsistencies.
• Assist with qualifying life events, new-hire enrollments, terminations, and various benefits transactions.
• Work in partnership with benefits carriers, brokers, and third-party administrators to address outstanding concerns.
• Document ongoing processes, procedures, and unresolved items for reference.
• Offer additional benefits support throughout the duration of the temporary assignment.
• Minimum of 3 years of practical experience in U.S. benefits administration.
• Familiarity with U.S. leave administration, particularly FMLA and disability programs.
• Proven experience working directly with benefits carriers and third-party administrators.
• Capability to independently investigate and resolve benefits-related issues with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage a significant volume of employee inquiries and operational tasks.
• Experience with Workday Benefits is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with benefits vendors such as Fidelity, Unum, Cigna, or similar is advantageous.
• Background check may be required for employment, subject to country, state, or province regulations.
• Temporary contract position.
