This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the establishment, management, and review of sponsored research awards, agreements, and amendments.
• Ensure adherence to sponsor guidelines, university policies, and relevant regulations.
• Evaluate and authorize post-award requests, budget modifications, and funding activities.
• Prepare and submit post-award prior-approval requests to funding agencies.
• Offer guidance and support to faculty and staff on matters related to research administration.
• Manage award transfers, pre-award expenditure requests, and other post-award functions.
• Create, negotiate, and oversee subaward agreements along with associated monitoring tasks.
• Assess and process internal funding awards alongside related compliance necessities.
• Collaborate with campus partners to enhance sponsored project management and research operations.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives, policy formulation, and training programs.
• Keep precise records and documentation within research administration systems.
• A Bachelor’s degree along with 3 years of relevant experience.
• Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on a continuous basis without sponsorship.
• Experience in managing grants, contracts, and cooperative agreements.
• Familiarity with 2 CFR Part 200 (Uniform Guidance) and other federal and non-federal sponsor-specific regulations.
• Proficient in research administration software systems.
• Experience in budget evaluation, re-budgeting, and post-award adjustments.
• Skilled in developing and delivering training presentations and materials.
• General understanding of research compliance necessities, including human/animal subjects, conflict of interest, export controls, and foreign influence.
• Certification as a Research Administrator (CRA) is preferred.
