Benefits Call Center Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alaska, +18 more states.

📋 Description

• Handle incoming calls

• Respond to inquiries about kits sent to beneficiaries

• Guide beneficiaries through the forms necessary to initiate their benefits

• Monitor stop and reissuing cases

• Process death kits

• Manage email communications

• Collaborate effectively with team members

• Assist participants and beneficiaries with inquiries related to benefits and provide guidance throughout the benefits process

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required

• Ability to successfully complete a criminal background check and drug screening

• Knowledge of pension accounts (DB skills) is essential

• Strong organizational skills are required

• Excellent time management abilities are necessary

• Must demonstrate a strong customer service orientation with clear, professional communication and the capacity to follow instructions accurately

• Must pass an internet speed test: download speed of at least 25 Mbps, upload speed of at least 5 Mbps, and ping response time of 175 ms or less

• Must be able to connect to a modem/router via an ethernet cable

• Must live in a qualifying US state or municipality; the employer is not hiring in AK, AZ, CA, CT, CO, HI, IL, MA, MD, ME, MO, MT, NE, NJ, NY, RI, OR, VT, WA, Minneapolis MN, Washington DC, Denver CO, Boulder CO, Edgewater CO, or Flagstaff AZ
