Behavioural Science Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Assume responsibility for unratified behavioral parameters within an AI-driven weight management coaching platform.

• Develop engagement strategies, including nudges and engagement loops, for beta product interfaces.

• Assess agent behavior using the COM-B model and related behavior-change frameworks.

• Complete the ratification register, including decisions, evidence, and current status.

• Review and refine the guidelines that direct the engine’s coaching methods, goal-gap analysis, action selection, and user communication.

• Perform an evidence review for behavioral guardrails.

• Identify and articulate items that need medical approval for internal clinical evaluation.

• Set a pass standard and establish a scored golden set for uncalibrated evaluation criteria.

• Offer recommendations for nudge and engagement-loop designs.

• Provide behavioral approval for intervention agreements from freelance experts.

• Analyze beta-user system performance and manage review queues.

• Accomplish five specified project milestones throughout the six-month commitment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong understanding of behavior-change theory (COM-B or similar), preferably with a research background.

• Proven experience in evaluating or designing behavioral loops, nudges, or habit-forming product mechanics.

• Comfortable working with structured, protocol-based content like reasoning rules and decision trees.

• Experience collaborating with cross-functional product and engineering teams on delivered features.

• Examples of behavioral frameworks implemented in shipped product features.

• A preference for meaningful overlap with UK/CET working hours.

• Responsible for managing personal taxes; no paid time off is provided.
