📋 Description

• Conduct diagnostic assessments.

• Provide crisis assessment and intervention on-site.

• Assess the need for ongoing care based on clinical skills, medical intricacy, and psychosocial factors.

• Create and implement treatment plans tailored to individual patients.

• Regularly evaluate patient progress and adjust diagnoses, treatment plans, and interventions as necessary.

• Maintain documentation of treatment sessions.

• Supply updates on patient progress to the interdisciplinary team when required.

• Inform patient support members about relevant patient issues and interventions as necessary.

• Refer patients to additional clinical services or specialists as needed.

• Remain informed about emerging issues within the profession.

• Assume full independence and responsibility for the well-being of patients.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field in Behavioral Health Sciences is essential.

• A license in good standing is mandatory in the state(s) of practice.

• Licensing is required in South Dakota, North Dakota, Minnesota, and Iowa.

• For Iowa licensure: Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW).

• For Minnesota licensure: Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• For North Dakota licensure: Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• For South Dakota licensure: Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Professional Counselor - Mental Health (LPC-MH), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Certified Social Worker - Private or Independent Practice (CSW-PIP).

• Credentialing through the organization's Allied Health Staff is required.

• Graduation from an accredited institution is preferred.
