Behavioral Health Clinician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Perform comprehensive evaluations to identify the mental health requirements of cancer survivors.

• Track patient development and modify treatment strategies when necessary.

• Implement evidence-based individualized and group therapy protocols for survivorship.

• Work in collaboration with the survivorship care team to address the mental health needs of patients in a holistic manner.

• Assist in executing the cancer survivorship collaborative care program (CoCM).

• Contribute behavioral health expertise to the creation of comprehensive care plans.

• Provide psychoeducation to survivors and their families.

• Conduct virtual consultations with patients.

• Foster relationships with patients and healthcare providers.

• Offer insights to leadership and clinical teams to enhance program delivery and protocols.

• Collaborate with executive leadership on program execution and patient experience.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in treating patients within a psycho-oncology or survivorship care environment is required.

• A Master’s or doctorate degree in clinical psychology, counseling, or clinical social work (e.g., LCSW, LMFT, PsyD, or PhD) is necessary.

• An active LCSW or LMFT license in New York or Tennessee is required.

• Expertise in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) is essential.

• Strong communication, empathy, and active listening abilities are vital.

• Capability to independently advance tasks and work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders.

• Must be available for a full-time 40-hour workweek, Monday through Friday.
