Behavior Consultant, ABA

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Provide direct care and supervisory responsibilities

• Conduct assessments for clients

• Monitor clients to recognize target behaviors

• Work collaboratively with clients aged 2–21, their families, and other service providers

• Create Individualized Treatment Plans that emphasize the child, family, educational, social, and recreational strengths as well as areas for improvement

• Continue to develop and evaluate preference assessments, reinforcement techniques, and rehabilitative strategies and activities

• Implement strategies and activities as directed by a licensed psychologist or psychiatrist in accordance with the Individualized Treatment Plan

⛳️ Requirements

• A Master’s degree is required

• Must hold a license in Pennsylvania as one of the following: Psychiatrist, Psychologist, Professional Counselor (LPC), Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner with a mental health certification (CRNP), Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Social Worker (LSW), or Behavior Specialist (LBS)

• Alternatively, candidates may have a professional scope of practice that includes overseeing ABA services along with at least one of the following:

• BCaBA certification or equivalent bachelor-level certification

• A minimum of one year of full-time experience delivering ABA services and at least 12 credits in ABA

• A minimum of one year of full-time experience providing ABA services under the supervision of a BCBA or another master’s-level certification in behavior analysis, along with at least 40 hours of ABA-related training

• A Pennsylvania psychologist license, plus a minimum of one year of full-time experience providing ABA services and at least 40 hours of ABA-related training
